Yes! We offer free trial classes during our standard season so you can see what you like before committing to the full season of dance.
You can register for available trial classes from the Schedule.
Trial class students can come in any comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in and socks. Hair should be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail or bun.
To create the best possible learning environment for our dancers, parents and other spectators are not permitted in the classroom during classes. This helps minimize distractions and allows students to fully focus on their training. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in supporting an optimal experience for all our dancers.
Your child can start dancing with us at any time!

No. Students are placed in classes with the same age group. If a dancer is struggling or feels behind, private lessons would be an option to help them feel more confident with skills or a routine.
It is common for younger students to cry when they first enter the classroom. This is a normal part of their growth and developing independence, and it’s perfectly okay. Rest assured, the teachers are trained on how to handle these situations with care.
- Female dancers ages 7 and younger should wear a leotard with a dance skirt or dance shorts and their hair in a ponytail or bun.
- Female dancers ages 8 and older should wear a tank top with shorts or leggings and their hair in a bun.
- Male dancers should wear basketball type shorts with a t-shirt or tank top.
The shoes needed will depend on the classes your child is taking. When you come in for a trial class or enroll, we can help you with the shoes your child will need.
Most classes will participate in the spring recital and require one costume, with 2 costumes for combo classes. There will be a costume deposit and a costume balance. We measure students during class and have them try on the costumes when they arrive to ensure proper fit. We also provide alterations if needed. We do all the work so you don’t have to worry about it!
All combo, tap, jazz, ballet, creative movement, and hip hop classes are included in the recital!
Technique+ and tumbling classes do not perform in the recital, as these are focused on skill-building rather than choreography.
